Target Audience
This course is designed for both Mayo Clinic and external audiences interested in advancing health equity and diversity and inclusion in health care, including health care providers, social workers, nurses, individuals involved in talent acquisition and development such as hiring managers (HR professionals), supervisors, hospital leadership and administrators, and diversity and inclusion practitioners.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of the RISE for Equity: Reflect, Inspire, Strengthen & Empower course, learners should be able to:
- Identify practical strategies to implement equity, inclusion, diversity and anti-racism in their own work environments
- Summarize best practices to address health equity in health care
- Recognize strategies to integrate innovation and technology to advance their equity, inclusion, diversity and anti-racism initiatives
