Mayo Clinic Health System presents the fourth annual, Transforming Community, Regional, and Rural Healthcare continuing education conference. This two-day symposium brings together multidisciplinary healthcare leaders, providers, administrators, researchers, and educators to discuss critical issues impacting community, regional, and rural health systems and the patients they serve. The course includes interactive sessions enabling participants to directly apply new transformative approaches to community and rural health settings.

Now Accepting Abstracts for Posters
Posters will be displayed throughout the entire conference; however, presenters are only required to be present at their poster during the poster session and reception on Monday evening. Each poster must have at least one representative registered to attend the conference in person. A registration discount code will be provided to one presenter per poster.
Submission Deadline: September 1, 2026
Maximum: 500 words per submission
A profile and online submission form are required.
We welcome research, community-engaged solutions, project-based work, and innovative ideas that support the future of community and rural healthcare.
Scholarship Application
A limited number of scholarships are available to provide reduced registration for this conference. Scholarships are very limited and awarded competitively, so early and thoughtful applications are encouraged.
Individuals interested in being considered must submit a statement describing how participation in this conference will enhance their work in community and rural health. Apply for the scholarship here.
Applications must be received by September 25, 2026. Scholarship recipients will be notified via email by October 2, 2026.

This symposium is designed for allied health professionals, healthcare executives, general internists, nurse practitioners, nurses, physicians, physician assistants, professors, residents, students as well as, community health partners, university faculty, and nonprofit and government employees.

Rochester, Minnesota is a friendly city that greets thousands of visitors from around the world each year. The city is serviced by a modern international airport with multiple flights daily via American, Sun Country and Delta Airlines. Access to and from the airport is provided by taxi, shuttle service, and rental car. The airport is located approximately 10 miles from the Hilton Rochester Mayo Clinic Area and the Mayo Clinic campus.
Note to Travelers: Several cities in the United States are named Rochester. When you make airline reservations and check your baggage, be sure that your destination is Rochester, Minnesota (RST) and that your baggage has been properly tagged. Flying through the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport (MSP) is another option. The following shuttle services offer multiple trips daily. Travel time is approximately 75 minutes.
